Problem

A new bundler for a progressive PAC offered to host an event focused on driving new donors from her network. She provided her personal and professional contact lists and asked who to prospect. The fundraising goal for the event was $25,000. Current staff didn't have the capacity to do donor research on her lists — and couldn't work her contacts into call time or predict how successful she'd be at meeting the goal.

Solution

A finance intern uploaded the bundler's contact lists into The Progress Platform. Donor research returned 43 potential new donors with giving potential greater than $1,000. Event plans were generated automatically and call sheets were built for the bundler with biographical information, donor history, and suggested asks and talking points.

Outcome

The PAC went into the event with a researched prospect list, a fundraising plan, and call sheets ready — and recovered roughly 14 hours of staff time that would otherwise have been spent on manual research. Methodology behind every prospect score is visible to the operator.

Problem

A campaign was balancing call-time targets, candidate appearances, event invitations, and finance commitments across districts with significant drive time between them. The scheduling team spent roughly two days a month building the next month's schedule — and the result still had conflicts, missed optimization opportunities, low call-time hours, and unnecessary drive time between events.

Solution

The team uploaded the month's scheduling requests into The Progress Platform. The platform vetted requests against campaign priorities, surfaced conflicts in the candidate's current calendar, calculated drive time between locations, and produced an optimized monthly schedule — with call time, candidate appearances, and finance events weighted to the campaign's priorities.

Outcome

The scheduling team recovered roughly two full days a month. The candidate gained measurable call-time hours back into the calendar, and drive time across the schedule dropped meaningfully — without manual route-planning.

Results

32×
faster monthly schedule build (30 min vs. ~2 days)
3.5h
additional call time per month
30%
reduction in drive time to events
